Bedtime’s Harpo graphite metal single bed is built from tough high strength quality steel with hand welded joinery.
Hand welding can result in unique markings as well as changes in colour due to the heating and shaping of the steel. Subtle variations in colour, along with the individuality of each craftsman’s work ensure that no two pieces are identical.
The slats are constructed from welded ply.
The colour of our metal beds is achieved with a non-toxic coating of dry powder which is heated to form a smooth, even surface much more durable than conventional paint. This powder coat finish protects against heat and moisture and is resistant to changes in humidity.
